This is a behind the scenes look at one of my absolute favorite books. When I read Jazz Baby, I was swept away by the story and totally captivated by the character of Emily Ann. This is a book worth reading!

Why I Choose to be an #Indie #Author #RRBC #RWISA

If you are holding your breath, waiting for that traditional publisher to find your book among the thousands of submissions that they receive, you should pay attention to what she says.As for me: Indie loud, Indie proud, and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

RWISA: RAVE WRITERS - INT'L SOCIETY OF AUTHORS

The main reason is INDEPENDENCE.  I remember as a child dreaming of becoming a writer.  As I got older with a bit more knowledge under my belt, I dreamed of one day becoming a published author.  After having read many stories of how authors were rejected over and over again, and how hard it was to break into the publishing business, after a while, the thought completely left my mind.
