Jazz: America’s Gift

Sometimes I get to host a stop on a blog tour, and that’s what I’m doing today. I’ve been following this tour, and have greatly enjoyed reading the information and memories posted along the way. Please welcome author, Richie, Gerber. I hope that you enjoy this segment of his tour.

MAINE HUMORIST’S RIFF ON ‘ALONE ON THE SAXOPHONE’

Richie Alone on the Saxophone image

Maine humorist, musician, artist, author and TV personality Tim Sample created the logo for my solo-sax act “Alone on the Saxophone” back in the mid-70s. It’s now the logo for my new publishing company, Gerber’s Miracle Publishers, LLC.  Read Tim’s riff on the story behind the logo.

If you have any other questions about my execnipree feel free to ask! Ultimately the decision is between you and your Dr though. Good luck and I hope I was helpful!

After reading Tim’s Riff, it gave me a little more information about you Richie. I also thought I read somewhere that you were the owners of Whole Foods or did the name change after you sold it? I’m into organic foods after my own health scare and I still shop there to this day. Anyway, I’m a little late getting here so forgive me. Rhani you have a nice website and I’m glad I finally got over here.

Thank you for the cookie. Sorry about the sand on my flip flops.

Not a problem, John. I’m a firm believer in being comfortable, which is why I wear shorts year round. I’m glad you liked the cookie, but I will warn you that they are addicting. So addicting that my roommate calls them crack cookies. Lol

Super cute logo, and it was nice to learn a bit about your own journey as a musician and performer in the link. 🙂
