April 25th is getting closer.

Today’s post is (no surprise) another plug for the Wounded Warriors fundraiser that White Knight Derek Ryder and Debutante Lilith Thorne of Tacoma, WA will be hosting on April 25th at the Poodle Dog restaurant in Fife, WA.

Derek and Lilith have put forth a great deal of effort to make this a festive event, and I’m sure that the night will be a huge success. I can’t tell you how proud I am of them and of how hard they’ve worked for this wonderful cause.

Because I so strongly support what they’re doing, I want to do what I can to help. Therefore, I’m asking everyone who reads this to write a check for $1.00 and put it in the mail in the next day or two. I know it may seem worky to write a check for a buck but when compared to what our wounded and disabled service members have done for us, it’s a very small thing.

Please make your check out to ISCOTDEC, and write Wounded Warriors on the subject line. The mailing address is:

ISCOTDEC

PO Box 488

Tacoma, WA

984401

Granted, a dollar is not a lot of money, and if you’d like to send more it will be greatly appreciated. But those dollars will add up, and when they’re added to the money that’s raised the night of the show, they’ll make a real difference in a Wounded Warrior’s life. Just think – your dollar, giving someone hope and helping them to rebuild a life that maybe they thought was beyond repair. It’s a buck, and a few minutes of your time. Am I asking too much?
